- Providing leadership training in promoting good governance for rural women
- Promoting rural women`s human rights through CEDAW
Yvonne seeks to see this project provide
opportunities to rural women, to improve their quality of life and equip them
with knowledge and information so that they can participate effectively in the
decision making processes in their communities.
So far, Yvonne has completed two workshops
in Rabi to train rural women in governance, leadership and microfinance. Yvonne
had an overwhelming response to her training workshops and ended up training
fifty people, including ten men.
